Samrat Cinematics has unveiled the much-awaited trailer of AJEY: The Untold Story of a Yogi, a film that traces the extraordinary journey of Ajay Anand, a young man from Uttarakhand whose spiritual quest leads him from humble beginnings to becoming one of India’s most influential leaders. The film is inspired by Shantanu Gupta’s bestselling book The Monk Who Became Chief Minister.
The trailer opens with stunning visuals of Garhwal, capturing Ajay’s childhood, family life, and friendships before his transformative decision to embrace sanyas. From the serenity of spiritual rituals to the turbulence of confronting gangsters and corrupt politicians, Ajay’s story unfolds as both a spiritual odyssey and a political awakening.
With sharp dialogues, dramatic confrontations, and breathtaking cinematography, the trailer paints a picture of sacrifice, resilience, and conviction.
Featuring Anantvijay Joshi in the lead, Paresh Rawal as the guiding Badey Maharaj, Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ and Ajay Mengi in a pivotal role, debutant, Garima Vikrant Singh, and Pawan Malhotra, the film promises authenticity, drama, and inspiration.
