The Ministry of Education, in collaboration with the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog, and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), has launched the Viksit Bharat Buildathon 2025, India’s largest student innovation initiative. Officially inaugurated on 23 September 2025 by Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, the program aims to engage over 1 crore students from 1.5 lakh+ schools across the country.
The Buildathon encourages students of Classes VI to XII to ideate, innovate, and create solutions for real-world challenges in alignment with the national vision of Viksit Bharat @2047. It’s not just a competition-it’s a nationwide movement to nurture creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving among young Indians.
Core Themes: Innovation for a Stronger Nation
