Bollywood star Shraddha Kapoor recently faced an unexpected hurdle when her verified LinkedIn account was mistakenly flagged as “fake.” The actress took to Instagram to share her frustration, revealing that despite creating a premium, verified profile to connect with budding entrepreneurs, her account was invisible to others.
In her Instagram story, Shraddha wrote:
“Dear LinkedIn @linkedin_in, I’m not being able to use my own account because LinkedIn thinks it’s fake. Can someone please help me?”
She further added:
“Account is made, premium and verified, but no one else can see it. Want to start sharing my entrepreneurial journey, getting an account itself has become a journey.”
The unusual situation quickly went viral, with fans and professionals expressing support for the actress’s initiative to explore a space beyond films and entertainment.
Soon after her post gained attention, LinkedIn India issued a clarification and restored her account. Kapoor later confirmed the fix on Instagram, writing:
“Team @linkedin_in sorted things in less than an hour on a Saturday night.”

Apart from being one of Bollywood’s leading actresses, Shraddha Kapoor has also made her mark as an entrepreneur. She is the co-founder and brand face of Palmonas, a modern jewellery label launched in 2022. The brand rose to fame after its pitch on Shark Tank India, securing an investment of ₹1.26 crore from Namita Thapar and Ritesh Agarwal.
On the film front, Kapoor is riding high on the success of Stree 2, released on August 15, 2024. The horror-comedy blockbuster collected over ₹857 crore worldwide, solidifying her position as one of Bollywood’s most bankable stars. Following the overwhelming response, the makers have already confirmed Stree 3, scheduled for release in 2027.
Next up, Shraddha Kapoor will headline Nikhil Dwivedi’s fantasy drama Naagin, a big-budget Bollywood film inspired by Indian mythology and folklore, where she will be seen in a powerful lead role.
