Riyadh Air Begins London Flights and Launches “Sfeer” – A New Loyalty Program for Travelers

Saudi Arabia’s new national airline, Riyadh Air, has announced two big milestones ahead of its 2025 launch – the start of its daily flights to London Heathrow Airport (LHR) from October 26, 2025, and the introduction of its all-new loyalty program called “Sfeer.”

The first flights from Riyadh to London will be operated by the airline’s special aircraft named “Jamila.” These launch flights will initially be open for Riyadh Air employees and select groups. This phase is part of the airline’s detailed plan called “Pathway to Perfect,” designed to test and fine-tune every part of the flying experience before opening to the public.

The airline recently received its official flight slot at London Heathrow, one of the busiest airports in the world. These early flights will help Riyadh Air prepare for smooth and world-class operations.

“This is not just a flight launch; it’s a step toward connecting Saudi Arabia to the world,” said Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air. “Our 2025 goal is becoming a reality. These flights will help us ensure reliability, comfort, and top service before we begin full operations. We are getting closer to offering travelers a perfect experience.”

Along with the flight announcement, Riyadh Air introduced “Sfeer,” its unique and modern loyalty program. The word “Sfeer” is inspired by the Arabic word for ambassador and reflects the airline’s spirit of generosity and connection.

What makes Sfeer special is its community-sharing feature. Members can share their Level Points with friends or family to help them reach higher membership levels faster and unlock bigger rewards. The program also offers no expiry for points, so travelers can use them anytime.

People who join early will become “The Founders” – gaining priority access to flight bookings, complimentary onboard Wi-Fi, and exclusive experiences.

“With Sfeer, we’re not just offering a loyalty program; we’re building a digital lifestyle community,” said Douglas. “It’s about sharing rewards and experiences, not just earning points.”

Riyadh Air aims to play a major role in Saudi Vision 2030, helping position the Kingdom as a global travel hub. With its London flights and Sfeer program, the airline is moving closer to becoming one of the most modern and customer-friendly carriers in the world.
