The Punjab Public Service Commission (PPSC) has officially rescheduled the Punjab Civil Services (PCS) Combined Competitive Preliminary Examination 2025. Earlier slated for October 26, 2025, the exam will now be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, across multiple centres in the state.
The Commission stated that the recent floods in Punjab had disrupted normal life, making it difficult for candidates to prepare and commute to exam centres. To ensure fairness and smooth conduct, PPSC decided to push the exam date forward.
PCS 2025 New Exam Schedule
- New PCS Exam Date: December 7, 2025 (Sunday)
- Previous Exam Date: October 26, 2025
- Sessions: Two sessions (Paper I & Paper II) will be held on the same day. Timings will be notified shortly on the official website.
Admit Card & Exam Centre Details
- Admit Card Release: Expected to be available around last week of November 2025 (10 days before the exam).
- Download Process: Candidates can log in using their registration number and password on ppsc.gov.in.
- Exam Centres: Allotted centres and detailed instructions will be printed on the admit card. Candidates are advised to carefully check their details and exam city.
The postponement of the Punjab PCS Preliminary Exam 2025 gives aspirants additional preparation time but also demands sustained focus. With the new date set for December 7, 2025, candidates should align their study plans, download admit cards on time, and stay alert to further instructions from PPSC.
