The capital is all set to witness a grand celebration of India’s cultural heritage as Natya Tarangini presents the 29th Edition of the Parampara Series – The National Festival of Dance & Music. Scheduled from October 8 to 10, 2025, at Kamani Auditorium, the festival will bring together legendary maestros and young icons of Indian classical arts for three evenings of breathtaking performances.
The Parampara Series 2025 will showcase a diverse lineup of performances spanning Kuchipudi, Bharatanatyam, Odissi, Hindustani vocals, instrumental jugalbandis, and violin duets—creating a rich tapestry of rhythm, melody, and movement.
Event Highlights:
- Oct 8: Hindustani Vocal by Pt. Ulhas Kashalkar and Kuchipudi by Raja Radha Reddy Repertory.
- Oct 9: Mridangam–Tabla Jugalbandi by Satish Kumar Patri and Satyajit Talwalkar, followed by Odissi by Rahul Acharya.
- Oct 10: Violin Duet by Ganesh & Kumaresh and Bharatanatyam by Shijith Nambiar & Parvathy Menon.
Each performance promises to reflect the continuity of classical traditions while embracing innovation — the essence of the Parampara (tradition) philosophy.
For nearly three decades, the festival has served as a melting pot of classical excellence, featuring iconic names like Pt. Hari Prasad Chaurasia, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Begum Parveen Sultana, and Vyjayanthimala Bali, alongside international troupes from Russia, Spain, and the U.S.
The 29th edition continues this proud legacy, reaffirming Natya Tarangini’s vision of preserving and promoting India’s performing arts for new generations.
