The much-loved adult comedy franchise Masti is back in the spotlight as the makers unveiled the teaser of Masti 4. The short clip instantly set social media buzzing, marking the return of Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani in their signature mischievous avatars.
The teaser, just over a minute long, sets the tone with its trademark blend of quirky one-liners, awkward situations, and cheeky humour. The trio, now older but not necessarily wiser, find themselves caught in new webs of temptation and trouble. Alongside the familiar comic timing, the teaser hints at fresh dynamics – this time, the women characters seem to have bigger roles, potentially turning the tables on the men’s antics.
Director Milap Milan Zaveri promises a “revamped yet nostalgic” ride, staying true to the franchise’s roots while offering a twist for today’s audiences.
For fans who have followed the series since 2004, the teaser brings a wave of nostalgia. Many welcomed the return of the OG comic trio, while others felt the humour seemed dated in today’s changing cinematic landscape. Critics also pointed out that the challenge lies in balancing risqué humour with contemporary sensibilities.
Directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, Masti 4 brings back Riteish Deshmukh, Vivek Oberoi, and Aftab Shivdasani along with Elnaaz Norouzi, Ruhii Singh, Natalia Janoszek and Shreya Sharma. and is set to release on November 2025.
