Contiloe Pictures – best known for State of Siege: Temple Attack and Taj: Reign of Revenge – has officially dropped the much-awaited teaser of its ambitious 3D animated feature film Mahayoddha Rama. The film is set to light up theatres this Diwali on 17 October 2025, with Cinépolis India handling nationwide distribution.
The mythological epic reimagines the timeless Ramayana with cutting-edge 3D animation. Adding star power is its impressive voice cast:
- Kunal Kapoor as Lord Rama
- Jimmy Shergill as Lord Laxman
- Mouni Roy as Maa Sita
- Gulshan Grover as the formidable Ravana
The teaser of Mahayoddha Rama offers a grand glimpse into the epic Ramayana, brought alive with high-quality 3D animation. It showcases Lord Rama’s journey, along with with Laxman, and Maa Sita, while building up to the larger-than-life presence of Ravana. We also see the visuals of Lord Hanuman in the teaser. The visuals are packed with dramatic battles, mythological landscapes, and emotional moments, accompanied by a powerful background score. Produced and presented by Abhimanyu Singh and Roopali Singh, the film is helmed by director Raizada Rohit Jaising Vaid.
