A new cinematic tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been announced. Titled Maa Vande, the film will feature popular Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan in the lead role, bringing the story of Modi’s life and his deep bond with his mother, Heeraben Modi, to the silver screen.
The makers revealed the project through an official social media announcement, unveiling a poster that shows Unni Mukundan in a striking resemblance to the Prime Minister. The announcement quickly gained traction across platforms, with fans hailing it as one of the most ambitious biopics in recent times.

Maa Vande is positioned as a grand biopic that will trace Narendra Modi’s inspirational journey – from his humble childhood in Vadnagar to his rise as the leader of the world’s largest democracy. At its emotional core, the film will highlight Modi’s enduring relationship with his late mother, Heeraben, whose influence shaped his personal and political values.
Unni Mukundan, best known for films like Meppadiyan and Mallu Singh, is making his foray into a high-profile pan-India project with this role. In his social media post confirming the film, Mukundan expressed gratitude and responsibility, writing that it was “an honour to portray a leader whose journey has inspired millions.”
Produced by Veer Reddy M and Directed by Kranthi Kumar C.H., the film is expected to be made on a large scale, with reports suggesting a multilingual release to reach audiences across India. While the full cast and crew details are yet to be revealed, the announcement has already set high expectations in both political and film circles.
