The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has officially released the date sheet for the Main Examinations 2025. The schedule, made available on November 20, 2024, outlines the complete timetable for both Class 10 and Class 12 board exams, giving students and schools ample time to prepare.
Examination Dates
According to the notification, the CBSE Main Examinations 2025 will be held from February to April 2025 across India and in designated overseas centers. The exams will be conducted in a single shift each day, from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, unless otherwise specified for certain subjects.
Highlights of the Schedule
Class 12 Exams:
Class 12 examinations will also commence in February 2025 and continue through April 2025, covering all streams-Science, Commerce, and Humanities. Major papers like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Accountancy, Business Studies, History, Political Science, and English Core are placed strategically across the timetable to allow sufficient preparation gaps for students.
Class 10 Exams:
The Class 10 board examinations are set to begin in February 2025 with subjects like Painting, Gurung, and Urdu scheduled in the early days. Core papers including Science, Mathematics, Social Science, English, and Hindi will be conducted in March 2025.
