Rising star Adarsh Gourav, best known for his fearless choice of roles and transformative performances, is calling 2025 one of the most defining years of his career. The actor has not only captivated Indian audiences with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s Superboys of Malegaon, but also made a strong mark internationally with Ridley Scott’s ambitious sci-fi series Alien: Earth.
Adding to his remarkable run, Adarsh has wrapped up shooting for his Telugu debut, a psychological drama, and is currently busy with filmmaker Anand L. Rai’s creature drama Tu Ya Main, where he stars opposite Shanaya Kapoor.
Reflecting on his milestone year, Adarsh said, “2025 feels like a turning point for me, both as an actor and as a storyteller. Superboys of Malegaon was a deeply personal and moving experience under Reema’s direction and Zoya’s vision as producer. It reminded me why I fell in love with cinema in the first place.”
On his international debut with Ridley Scott, he added, “Alien: Earth was unlike anything I’ve ever done — the scale, the ambition, and the chance to collaborate with Ridley Scott and an incredible cast was surreal and challenging in all the right ways. Delivering two projects of this magnitude in a single year has been nothing short of rewarding.”
For Adarsh, his Telugu debut carries personal significance:“I recently wrapped up my first-ever Telugu film, which is my mother tongue. It has been an exciting learning experience and a step toward connecting with a whole new audience.”
Currently on the sets of Tu Ya Main, he shared his excitement:“Anand sir’s storytelling has always had a unique blend of heart and spectacle. To be part of a project that pushes the boundaries of genre filmmaking is exciting. I feel incredibly grateful to the filmmakers who trusted me with these stories and to audiences who continue to support and encourage me.”
With three major projects spanning different genres, languages, and industries, Adarsh Gourav is solidifying his position as one of the most promising actors of his generation. His journey this year exemplifies the new wave of Indian performers who are breaking boundaries and establishing themselves as global storytellers.
“This year has reminded me that as long as I stay honest with my craft, the possibilities are endless,” Adarsh concluded.
