The Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB) has declared the Round 2 seat allotment result for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG 2025 on its official website – jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in. The provisional list has been issued for admission to MBBS, BDS, and BHMS courses across government, government-aided, and private medical institutions in the state.
A major development this year is the addition of 75 new MBBS seats at Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College and Hospital, Bishrampur, Palamu. Of these, 60 seats fall under the unreserved category and are open to NEET UG qualified candidates from any region, including Jharkhand, while 15 seats are reserved under the NRI quota.
According to the Department of Health, Medical Education, and Family Welfare, Ranchi, the expansion of seats comes as per the directions of the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), New Delhi. The Board will conduct the second round of online counselling for All India and NRI quota seats at Laxmi Chandravansi Medical College, Bishrampur, and Netaji Subhas Medical College and Hospital, Adityapur, Seraikela-Kharsawan.

Reporting & Admission Process
Candidates allotted seats in Round 2 are required to report to their respective colleges for document verification and admission formalities between September 26 and 30, 2025. Failure to report within the specified dates may result in forfeiture of the allotted seat.
The admission will be confirmed only after the verification of original documents and payment of the requisite fees. Students are advised to carefully read the reporting instructions mentioned in their allotment letters.
Key Reminder for Aspirants
Candidates should:
- Regularly check the official JCECEB website for notices and updates.
- Carry original certificates along with multiple photocopies for verification.
- Stay informed about possible subsequent counselling rounds and mop-up vacancies.
The addition of new seats is expected to increase opportunities for medical aspirants in Jharkhand and reduce pressure on seat availability in future counselling rounds.
