The Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB) has released the tentative timetables for the 2026 SSLC (Class 10) and II PUC (Class 12) board examinations.
According to the proposed schedule, the II PUC exams will be conducted from February 28 to March 17, 2026, while the SSLC exams are slated for March 18 to April 1, 2026. The timetable includes both academic and vocational subjects, with PUC beginning with Kannada and Arabic papers and SSLC starting with First Language subjects.
KSEAB has invited objections and suggestions on the draft schedule from students, parents, and schools. The feedback window is open until October 9, 2025, after which the board will review all responses before issuing the final timetable.
This year’s schedule closely mirrors the 2025 board exams, where the Class 12 papers were held from March 1 to 19, and Class 10 from March 20 to April 2. The slight advancement of dates is intended to provide smoother coordination between the two major examinations.
Education experts have advised students to begin their preparation in line with the tentative calendar while keeping room for adjustments once the final version is confirmed. Schools, meanwhile, are encouraged to verify the schedule for potential clashes with holidays or other logistical concerns.
The detailed subject-wise timetable is available on the official KSEAB website.
