Filmfare Awards 2025 Winners List: ‘Laapataa Ladies’ Dominates, Abhishek Bachchan and Kartik Aaryan Share Top Honours

The 70th edition of the Filmfare Awards took place in grand style at EKA Arena, Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad, on Saturday. Hosted by Shah Rukh Khan, along with Karan Johar and Maniesh Paul, the glittering evening celebrated the best of Indian cinema. The night was filled with stunning performances by Shah Rukh Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Kajol, adding glamour and excitement to the star-studded event.

Leading the winners’ circle, Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies emerged as the biggest winner of the night, bagging 13 trophies, including Best Film, Best Director, and Best Supporting Actor (Male and Female). With this, it equalled the all-time record held by Gully Boy.

In a unique turn, Abhishek Bachchan (I Want To Talk) and Kartik Aaryan (Chandu Champion) shared the Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male) award, while Alia Bhatt won Best Actress (Female) for her performance in Jigra.

Among critics’ honours, Rajkummar Rao won the Critics’ Award for Best Actor (Male) for Srikanth, while Pratibha Rannta received the Critics’ Award for Best Actor (Female) for her role in Laapataa Ladies.
